“ Loved the ambience and their excellent drinks. The food menu is entirely Vegan! A very good spot to bring friends for a hangout or even for date night. ”
“ Delicious vegan food and good service. Nice outside seating. Only issue was with the loud music which we could go without it. We have the pork sandwich and the hamburger, both were tasteful but I think the hamburger was better, I loved the sauce that came with the fries too. We will be back for more. ”
“ We went to The Uncanny for a special dinner out and loved the patio ambiance, the food, and the drinks. We had the Italian porq sandwich, the chicken burger, and the peppers as an appetizer (all were vegan, of course). Everything was incredibly delicious! ”
“ The Uncanny is an absolute gem! The unique design and atmosphere really set it apart — every detail feels thoughtfully curated. The outdoor seating is perfect for relaxing with friends, and the drinks are top-notch with creative options that never disappoint. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. They even took the time to show us the upstairs space, which they might be opening in the future — can’t wait to see it! You can really feel the sense of community here, and it’s definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend! ”
“ Moody, magical, and unforgettable. This gothic cocktail bar in a Victorian house serves up incredible drinks (vegan & zero-proof too) with spooky flair and cozy vibes. Fire pits outside, ghostly details inside, and the kind of place you’ll want to linger. A Portland gem. ”
“ Popped in tonight and it was GREAT. I am happy if there’s flattering and lighting and good cocktails- and there were! I got the Melancholia and my partner got the non-alcoholic option “False King.” We decided to grab some bites- fried cauliflower and a beet/farro/lentil salad. They were delicious. Servers were super helpful and quick! There’s a really pretty outdoor area with a fire. Looking forward to coming back. ”
“ Strange is an understatement. Music and lights were very dim and gothic—it fit the vibe perfectly. Menu was good, we tried the salad and one of the seasoned chicken strips(the 4 strips meal is very satiated). The drinks were awesome, I’d recommend Prowl By Night. The Death Valley drink is not for your average drinker. Two sips and you’re ready for bed. ”
“ So far one of my favorite cocktail bars in Portland! The Uncanny is a great place to visit with friends, family, or a date. They have a great drink menu, and love that they have a pretty decent mocktail selection as well. The La Llorona is what I usually get. Inside is pretty limited seating, but they make up for it with their outdoor, heated area. Def a vibe! ”
